How Do I Get Her Hair????

Let me just say that I LOVE THE COVER OF W MAGAZINE!! Katherine Heigl and Baby Naleigh look stunning:)

Moving on. How do I get my hair to have those gorgeous retro waves Katherine's got going on? Ugggh, its not like I haven't tried. In fact, I can get waves pretty easy with my favorite styling products right now, but it just doesnt look as polished as above:(

If you guys know the secret...PLEASE TELL ME ASAP;)

So here are some pics of my quick and easy "messy waves":

Anyway, my easy wave trick is this:

  1.  Apply Sally Hershberger Mousse/ Style Primer to wet hair
  2.  Start to blow-dry until halfway dry
  3.  Spray the Sally Hershberger "Make Waves"-careful not to put too much. It can get a lil greasy if you do.
  4. As you finish blowdring, twirl with your fingers...away from your face. You know how some peeps twirl their hair all day, or when they're nervous they twirl obsessively? Well, do just that. The "nervous twirl" will shape even my straight hair into nice waves if used in conjuction with these products.
What am I gonna do when the messy waves look goes out of style? Its such a fun way to change up my style every now and then with hardly any extra work!! I don't even use a curling iron!!

Keratin Hair Treatment & Brazillian Blow-outs

(zimbio)
Kim's hair is shiny and frizz free all the time!

I wanted to give a quick review of these since I've had both done and they are sooooo popular.
First, let me just say that you need to have hair that frizzes to begin with. Period.

Pros: shiniest my hair has ever been
Cons: expensive, feels greasy unless I wash everyday, left my hair flat:(

Brazilian Blow-outs: Usually cost around 3-400$ and can take up to 3 hours to apply. Very potent and long lasting, at least 3 months if you use sulfate free shampoo. Also very straightening. Can leave hair very shiny but at times, limp. ***update--recent news claims that the Brazillian Blowout contains formaldehyde! (more info)

Keratin Treatment: Not as expensive, I think I paid around 180$???? Took 45 mins to apply. Nice. It didnt do anything different from my usual hair-care routine, except make me not have to do much to get the same look I usually spend about 20 mins on.  20 minutes isnt that big a deal though, so I wont be doing this one again either....sad :-(   It does add shine and takes away frizz, so for the money...try this one before you try the brazilian:)

**My overall opinion...I'd rather spend 150$ on KERASTASE CHRONOLOGIST.
***But if you have majorly frizzy hair that has yet to be tamed, try one of these treatment. They will work.

What do you think Kim uses on her hair? That shine could only be created through one of these treatments....but how does she still have body and fullness?

Kerastase Chronologist Review: Is it Worth It?

I finally broke down and bought this...I've been loving all Kerastase products FOREVER, and, although expensive,  you wear your hair EVERYDAY...so the cost per wear is actually dirt cheap compared to your favorite Jimmy Choos;)

Therefore, caviar for the hair? Why not?!!!

Fill the cream conditioner in the measuring cup provided. Mix about 10 pumps of the grey beads with the conditioner. Towel dry shampooed hair then apply to in sections and comb through. Wait about 10 minutes...or longer. Rinse. Viola! Shiny, voluminous, frizz free hair! Cant get enough of it.
And TRUST me: I have tried EVERYTHING, and this is by far the best. This is the SECRET to great hair:)

***the qualities of all the Kerastase Conditioning Masks combined into one
***I use it twice a week right now, and people complement my hair all the time
