Here's an outfit from my 4th of July weekend at the beach... Some of you have seen these shorts before. I bought them at the very beginning of summer, hoping that the shorts trend would "take."
I think the main thing I had to consider (and pretty much ALWAYS consider), is that I have a short torso. So shorts that start at my natural waistline dont look so hot, unless I bypass the waist with a long tank like I did here....just a little something to consider trying if any of you are like me and have the same issue;)
Anyway, as you can see, I put that new necklace and bracelet I showed you last week to good use! The fish seemed pretty appropriate to wear all weekend actually;)
Speaking of appropriate/in-appropriate, I usually see some crazy 4th of July outfits at the beach...some people deck themselves out in clothing of red, white, and blue (fine by me)...while others look as though they took the worlds smallest U.S flag, and fashioned it into some sort of dental floss they used to partially (partially being the operative word) cover up their goods!
Did you guys see any interesting 4th of July get-ups?
I like the shorts, the print is adorable and you are looking VERY long in that tank!

Hahaha! Those flag bikinis crack me up! We didn't make it to the beach this year, so thankfully, my eyes were spared any kind of sights like that!

Love your new jewelry!! Those shorts look great on you with those wedges. Probably the worst flag look I saw was my sis in law dressing her four kids in plaid shirts and navy shorts...kinda dorky!
