I absolutely love this bag! Its not too big, not too small, and the flap in the front is so convenient for pulling out my keys or subway card.  Its still available at Bergdorfs and I think Saks, but I believe this color is sold out...I got it in February....

The outfit, although simple, got me tons of compliments yesterday. I think its because of the bag and the scarf. Plus, I try NOT to match my handbag to my shoes, and that always mixes things up a bit:)

Better Than Candy

I LOVE Proenza Schouler !! The structure is so sophisticated and the colors are beautiful! I especially like the suede ones, but I'll take one in every color and texture! The strap detailing is perfect and the hardware isn't overdone. Some bags try too hard...these don't have to. They are top notch:)

How to Look Cool When Your Carrying Around Tons of "Stuff"

Let's face it, with the major amounts of Ben Franklins us girls throw down for handbags these days, can we really afford to bust them up and wear them out by carrying everything but the kitchen sink in them?

Between my notebooks, huge water jug, snacks for the day, umbrella, book to read on the train, and endless amounts of other purposeful items I need for my day...it just doesnt make any sense to jam pack my beautiful Balenciaga and put it at risk for early retirement.

Oh...just keep in mind that you can look a bit sloppy when carrying 2 types of bags, so remember: it looks best to have one that goes across the body and one that can be held like a tote. Bags of the same length will lead you to look even more bogged down.

Jimmy Choo Odette Leather Tote

Wow! I'm not normally a fan of white handbags, being that here in ny, they can get awful dirty even when treated with great care. But, man, if you held a gun to my head and made me have one for spring/summer...this would be it! I like that it's got a bit of edge to it, and of coarse, Jimmy Choo makes a great handbag.
