I find it fascinating to look at pictures of myself now. I never could really picture myself with a baby bump (until it happened), but even still, I see it sometimes and think "Oh my God, that's ME!!"
This photo is a week old (I wore it to a friends fashion show, and trust me, it was tough to pick a dress that would be fitting for the event AND fit my bump). My belly is even bigger this week!
And a tough week it's been: My Nana (my grandmother) passed away. She was such an amazing person who brought a lot of joy to those around her. She was always so positive and hopeful, even up until the end of her life.
I've been dealing with it ok I guess. I definitely have my tearful moments, but I keep remembering the good things about her and the fact that a new life, my baby boy, is about to enter this world. I know she will see him from above;)
Nana loved Oprah, so I thought this quote would be fitting (she also intuitively knew this sentiment and lived by it):
Nana also loved the color red, so I thought it was perfect to post this dress. And its on sale for $50.13
