Weekends Were Made for Fun










My Outfit

This weekend was my idea of perfect. The weather warmed up (a bit). The sun came out to bless us with its happy presence. And, the hubs and I spent some much needed time together, strolling through Soho and eating tasty food. 

It was a great balance of social time, and couple time. Oh and we celebrated the birthday of a friend of ours at a cool restaurant we always wanted to try. 

We played an awesome "game" at the bday party where we all went around and said something we love about the birthday boy until we got through 29 things...(he turned 29). It was so sweet and actually very special (there were some tears). 

Apparently, this is a tradition for them and I have to say, this might be one we will have to copy. Um, who doesn't want to hear a bunch of people tell you how great you are on your B-day?! Plus, I think it makes it more about celebrating life, than celebrating gifts and material things. Don't you?

    That sounds like a great tradition! How horrible would it be if everyone couldn't come up with 29 (or however old the person is turning) things though? What a nightmare, haha!

    I love the way you styled this denim shirt! It's actually pretty unique in itself, too...I've seen a lot of long sleeved denim shirts, but no short sleeved ones!
