I had a lot of errands to run in the city today so I wanted to be comfortable.
This H&M skirt was 5 dollars. I'm serious. The messenger bag makes me look like a tourist in a way, but fit the casual outfit so well I think.
Besides, tourists walk ridiculously slow, their heads are pointed upwards to the sky, and they form a wall of about 4 to 5 people long, covering the width of the sidewalk to make it really hard for one to pass by. One such as myself, who had to make a run to the drugstore, the make-up counter, and numerous other points of interest.
I used to not be bothered by tourists (I've been one before myself...duh), but it seems like this city is crawling with them on days where I just really need to be fast and get shit done!
Ok, my ranting is done. I'm a lovable person...I swear. At least I ran all my errands in these comfy converse. But maybe I needed to be "gellin" (thank you doctor scholl), to take the edge off today.
Maybe you were in a hurry and they were just trying to enjoy the city Don't you think?

ReplyDeletetourists in philly make me crazy. i've limited the hours i spend in touristy areas because of it. i can't stand moving slow and bumping into people who stop to stare at stuff. haha. anyway, love the converse.
