From what I can tell, stripes aren't going anywhere any time soon. But, it does seem that many of the high end designers are moving to a more conservative approach, when it comes to this trend.
For example, the resort collections for 2012 were showing many designs with only one stripe down the pant leg, or a very minimalist outfit, with say, a striped belt, and striped accessories like the one pictured above from Derek Lam.
I have to say, I LOVE the Tommy Hilfigur blazer even though its not really apart of this minimalist trend. I think I'll be wearing both styles in the upcoming seasons;)
