What I Wore

Since this past Sunday was Easter, I decided I wanted to wear something bright and springy.  However, being that I just gave birth 5 weeks ago, I haven't bought any new clothes. Attention all you women out there on a spending freeze: HAVE A BABY, I PROMISE YOU WONT WANT TO BUY NEW CLOTHES RIGHT AWAY! 

Since I wanted to be casual, and comfortable, (and since our plans were so minor and un-exciting), I chose a relaxed version of the monochromatic look...(the top is a lighter version of the jeans), and then being me, covered all that up with black and grey. Go figure. 

A while back I posted on Mint: How I'd Wear it. I think I predicted somewhat accurately, but I wasn't taking into consideration the fact that post pregnancy, I still wouldnt want to put wedges back on.  I did however, do my nails in a somewhat similar fashion...  

Anyway, I'm hoping to be wearing some new clothes asap, so I'm sure that in between feeding baby, bathing, burping and just altogether going goo-goo eyed over him, I'll find the time to post some newer looks soon!
