Isn't this look awesome? I love the unexpected bright color under the soft, feminine lace!
Remember this dress of mine?
Me 7 mo's preggo
Well, the little tank/slip that goes under is optional. Meaning that its not attached to the dress, not that I'd choose to wear it with nothing under it! Geez!!
So, I'm thinking of getting some bright, colorful tank dresses/slips to wear underneath for Spring:
These above are from Modcloth and they're super inexpensive, but a bit too tight for a new mommy I'm afraid! (YIKES)
Maybe these American Apparel tank dresses will work!
I'm going to have to try a few of these to see if I can make this look work. But I have to say, I'm definitely inspired, and excited to get my body back and get myself into some bright, fun, spring colors!!!
I think I'll be able to wear the lace dress post baby, it had a lot of stretch to begin with, but wearing it pregs may have permantly stretched it out! I of coarse will keep you posted, and if does work, will be sure to do an outfit picture!
*this is a scheduled post again, since I'm most likely in a haze right now, feeding and burping my newborn:)
Def. loving this idea. I also thought of this when I tried on my long neon tank top and thought of wearing my crocket dress over it.
