The Littlest Things

This decanter from crate & barrel makes me feel so sophisticated as I pour my water before bedtime....this is a new concept for me, but I look forward to getting my water at night now. I actually got the idea from one of my husbands friends who served us out of a (much more manly) decanter over at his house.

This baked apple cinnamon donut recipe was such a hit. Unbelievably easy to make and better than store bought.  I put a little turkey next to them to make them look like turkey eggs and added some fall leaves to the platter in honor of Thanksgiving.

I wore this madewell scarf all weekend. I even kept it on while baking. Strange.

So here are the little things that made my weekend extra amazing. Everything seemed to revolve around comfort and luxury, which makes sense that I'd relish in that after the hectic few weeks I've had. 

Baby Beaux is going through a screaming phase, and he's literally ripping out my hair with his tiny miniature hands. I guess thats why these small luxuries feel extra comforting this week. At the end of the day when I put on my slippers and pour myself a very grown up glass of water, all seems calm and serene.
