My Favorite Moisturizer





So, this is a little out of the ordinary I guess, because my favorite moisturizer isnt the kind you put on your skin. It's actually the kind you put on your toast or in your protein shake. It IS a beauty product though. It just also happens to be good for ALL of your major organs.

Now, some people make a lot of claims about Flax Oil, and I cant tell you if they are true, but what I can tell you, is that in my own personal experience, I have found that when I don't take it, my lips are all dry and crinkly, and my skin doesn't glow. I especially notice this in the winter, but I usually take it year round. I also like that I'm getting a lot of added health benefits. Flax seed oil contains Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids as well as b vitamins, fiber, and magnesium. Some studies claim that flax oil can protect against certain cancers, aid in recovery from sprains, and even accelerate the metabolism of fat.

I have learned to love the nutty flavor, and put it on my toast every single morning as a butter substitute, but I would suggest starting small, by adding it to juice or a shake, as some of my friends and family members nearly gagged when I offered them the "eggs and flax toast sandwich" that I typically make for myself. Oh, and I've been giving it to my dog for years as a "gravy" on top of his dry food and I swear his coat is extra shiny and handsome because of it!!
