Last night my friend and I left the borough of Manhattan to go meet up with a friend who lives in Jersey City. I was surprised at how easy it was to get there:)
They both have a cool, edgy, rocker-chic vibe that I only seem to half pull off . But, then again, they are cool and edgy! Not to mention, fun to hang with and talk with for hours over a long, delicious, dinner!
K's outfit (above) got my attention at first because of the cute gray and red argyle socks she had peeking out of her boots. (Did you know that the color "gray" is spelled g-r-a-y in the U.s, and g-r-e-y in England? I learn something new every day! ) I'm bummed I didn't get a good picture of them!
Belt: Vintage
Cuff: F21
T, below, had on the coolest booties that her mother got her (great job T's "mum"!)
Poncho: Banana Republic
(I gotta get me one of these)
After dinner, T and I hopped back on the train, and were lucky enough to be free of any annoying clipping sounds! Haha! I think we need some signs for loud crunching as well. Good thing I usually travel with my I-pod:)
Hope your weekend is going well and is free of any ridiculously annoying sounds!!
I love K's outfit. Your right, it is so rockerish!!! That cuff is beautiful :)
ReplyDeletethat houndstooth coat is adorable, your friends are so fashionable!

Love your friend's outfit! Her tat is really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThere are many words which are not written the same in English (UK) and English (USA). In Malta we adopt the UK version and so blogger is always telling me I have spelling mistakes lol, like colour etc.
beautiful outfits!!

that poncho is fantastic on your friend!
ReplyDeleteand seriously, i hate public nail-clippers. i used to have a co-worker that had some sort of bionic nails because he would clip them at his desk like EVERY day. eeeew.
I am in love with your friends poncho!! OK and the nail clippings, that is so gross:)
ReplyDeletelove the poncho!! cool blog.
ReplyDeleteYour friends' outfits are great!
ReplyDeleteAlso, that poster for subway manners is hilarious. How many people even think to clip their nails on a subway that it becomes such a problem? Haha.
xx.

your friends poncho is such a great piece, perfect for a cold night out
ReplyDeleteOh don't get me started on the US and UK version. In the US they say they speak English but they don't. To them a purse is a bag, a cardigan is a sweater, pants are trousers and chips are crisps. It drives me mad.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with tattoos. (just got one yesterday haha) Especially sleeves. You rock it!
