Ooooooooh. A "Day Date...."
Day dates just might put you in the "friend zone." And we just went on one on saturday when I wore the above dress.
Luckily, my husband and I ARE friends, and on top of it we dont have to worry about that stuff anymore. Although, I dont know, this short dress may take you right back out of the "friend zone." I suppose if I really were dating and wanted to send a signal that I liked the guy as more than a friend, this dress couldve done the trick!
As a mom in her thirties I do sometimes wonder if the length of these dresses I love so much are appropriate. I will tell you it passed the fingertips rule, and Beaux is still too young to be embarassed by the length of mommy's hemline...for now.

I figure if my bum is (comfortably) covered while bending over/squatting to pick up a child then the dress/skirt is long enough for this mommy!

Such a pretty dress to go on a day date with the husband. I also question about the length of some of my dresses, but if you can wear it well...I say why not?!

ReplyDeleteI actually love day dates... or daytes, as I call them. =) That's kind of all I get anymore now that I have kids! We have to both take off of work and go on a dayte when the kids are in school! lol You look gorgeous!
